A New Gathering Space on the 6th Floor – for Community and a Relaxing Coffee Break
Dear colleagues,
From now on, your workdays will be not only productive but also pleasant, and your collaboration even closer. We are delighted to announce that as of today, a new gathering space has opened on the 6th floor of the Central Building (S1) for you to connect over a cup of coffee.
Here, you will find a fully equipped coffee corner with a capsule coffee machine, microwaves to heat your own meals, and seating areas. It's the perfect spot for a short break with your team or a cozy chat with colleagues from other departments. And if you're in need of some fresh air, we invite you to enjoy the terrace, which also serves as a great place to meet and connect. This space is for everyone – not only for employees of the Central Building but also for visiting colleagues from our remote departments.
Throughout this summer, the space will be open every workday, from Monday to Friday, from morning until evening.
To make this corner a favorite spot for everyone to unwind, we invite you to help keep it tidy and treat it as your own. This will ensure that everyone feels comfortable and welcome here. We also want to remind you about the safety rules for the terrace: please do not leave furniture outside, as strong winds could blow it away.
This space was created for you – to provide a place to rest, recharge, and further strengthen our sense of community. The idea was brought to life by the team of VILNIUS TECH Chancellor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vaidotas Trinkūnas.
