For those who are still considering their participation in mobility
Due to the current global uncertainty, I am not sure if I want to participate in the mobility. If I decide to not participate in mobility this semester, will I lose my chance?
If you planned to participate in the mobility but decided to not participate, you can postpone your Erasmus+ studies to the upcoming semester (not available to 4th year students as the last semester must be spent at home university). In such case please let us know by writing an email to crypt:PGEgaHJlZj0ibWFpbHRvOm91dGdvaW5nQHZpbG5pdXN0ZWNoLmx0Ij5vdXRnb2luZ0B2aWxuaXVzdGVjaC5sdDwvYT4=:xx.
I am ready to participate in mobility the upcoming semester, but the pandemic is not over yet. What do I need to know?
It is totally understandable to have doubts about moving to a different country at a current period. However, there is a different way to participate in the Erasmus+! After making an agreement with the partner institution, students can participate in blended mobility, which means that Erasmus studies will be divided into two parts: virtual (taking as long as necessary) and physical (taking NO LESS than 3 months, otherwise it will not be recognized). You will begin your Erasmus studies virtually (by staying in Lithuania) and later will go to the partner institution to finish your mobility by physically participating in academic activities. IMPORTANT if you decide to participate in blended mobility, the Erasmus scholarship will be granted only for the time spent in physical mobility in the country where the partner university is located.
If physical mobility cannot be completed due to pandemic (force majeure situation only), the study time can be changed to fully virtual. After the completion of blended mobility, the whole duration, a form of mobility, and academic achievements have to be acknowledged in the transcript of records provided by the partner university.

For students who decided to go on Erasmus+ studies
After starting my studies at the partner university, subjects I chose before mobility have been changed. What should I do in such case? Will VILNIUS TECH accept my credits after returning from Erasmus+ studies?
For all the academic related questions(regarding your subjects, credits etc.) please contact your Erasmus+ faculty coordinators. Full list of the responsible coordinators can be found here. They will help you choose the appropriate subjects at host university, answer your questions about credits. We would like to remind you, that in case of changing your subjects at partner institution, you need to fill the additional document (Changes to learning agreement) and collect all the necessary signatures (faculty coordinator’s, partner university coordinator’s and your own. After having the fully signed document please send it to crypt:PGEgaHJlZj0ibWFpbHRvOm91dGdvaW5nQHZpbG5pdXN0ZWNoLmx0Ij5vdXRnb2luZ0B2aWxuaXVzdGVjaC5sdDwvYT4=:xx. Keep in mind, that you can change your subjects only within the 30 days from the beginning of the semester!
Country of the partnert university has implemented quarantine, studies now are organized online. Will my mobility be recognized by VILNIUS TECH?
Yes. If the country of the partner university has implemented quarantine and all the study processes were moved to virtual mode, mobility will be accepted and full scholarship will be paid. In such a case, it is IMPORTANT to stay in the country of the host university and continue studying online!
We remind you that the final version of the Learning Agreement has to be fully signed! If you are still missing a signature from the partner institution coordinator, please contact them as soon as possible.
