COVID-19: FAQ for returning international students
The symptoms of coronavirus are similar to the symptoms of a flu: a high temperature, a cough, feeling short of breath and other respiratory disorders, muscle pain and fatigue. INFORMATION FOR RETURNING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Will 2020 study start date be postponed?
The academic year 2021/2020 for the students will start as normal – 1st of September.
If I am delayed for starting studies in September because of the pandemic (since I have returned to my home country), will my start date be postponed?
As we can see from the past months, it is hard to plan and predict how we will be able to organise studies in September. At the moment we are planning to start everything offline on time.
All the second and higher year students must plan their return to Vilnius 10 days before the studies start. If the international student has a temporary residence permit or national visa D, he is allowed to enter Lithuania with the strict 10 days self-isolation period.
