INFORMATION FOR UKRAINIAN STUDENTS

Russia attacked Ukraine on the night of February 24th. Russia has launched a "full-fledged" war against the Ukrainians, ignoring international law, the United Nations Charter and the Minsk agreements. Lithuania and world politicians are already reacting and will react to the aggression of Vladimir Putin's regime.

Today, everyone's support for a free Ukraine, with which Lithuania has had close relations since the time of the Republic of the Two Nations, is very important.

Free VILNIUS TECH e-publications for learning Lithuanian language

VILNIUS TECH Library contributes to the integration of Ukrainians in Lithuania and invites to use VILNIUS TECH e-book platform for free. In the platform, you can access the publications of Regina Žukienė, who is the author of the University's publications for Lithuanian language learning:

„Lietuvių kalbos pagrindai rusakalbiams“, ("Basic Lithuanian for Russian speakers");

„Lietuvių kalba užsieniečiams: teorija ir praktika", ("Lithuanian Course for Foreigners: Theory and Practice“).

The publications cover six topics, which are necessary for successful communication in Lithuanian. The books are oriented towards a short cognitive, practical and educational course in the Lithuanian language.

The teaching material is designed to reach the level of a beginner user of Lithuanian (Council of Europe level equivalent - A1 Breakthrough).

These are excellent tools for those who teach Lithuanian language to Ukrainians.
