VILNIUS TECH organizes PhD studies in Humanities, History and Theory of Arts scientific field and prepares high-quality researchers, who develop the history and theory of architecture, urban design history and theory of architecture and its scientific knowledge, also successfully develops the designing, administrative, educational and other activities.

PhD programme in History and Theory of Arts science field is organised in the Faculty of Architecture, specifically in  its three departments:

History and theory of architecture;

Research and design of architectural and urban objects;

Architectural and urban heritage;

Problems of composition in architecture;
Theory and politics of urban design, urban and regional planning;

Research of urban complexes;
Structural solutions of buildings;

Acoustic properties and sound insulation of building and its elements;

Industrial design products.
