Automotive Engineering
This application system is intended non-EU applicants. Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania or other member states of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), as well as persons (non-EU/EEA) granted a right of permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania, holders of Diaspora and people of Lithuanian origin have a possibility to apply for a state-funded place. Graduates will exhibit:
- Fundamental knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering.

What will you learn?
Automotive Engineering (along with transport engineering) is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering.
Is applied to: design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems.
Engineering attributes and disciplines that are important to the Automotive Engineer field are included in the programme:

Where can you do an internship?
Professional internships are carried out in companies with the most recent production facilities and technologies in Lithuania and abroad.
Students acquire practical skills working with the equipment, technologies and learn about the company management.
Exchange period abroad?
Students, who are willing to study in foreign universities, will have an opportunity to study abroad for one semester in the following countries: Belgium, Czeck Republic, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Croatia, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, France, Finland, Romalia, Greece, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, etc.

What are the career opportunities after studies?
This study program aims to provide graduates with the technical qualities, transferable skills and independent learning ability to make them effective in organisations that design and develop automotive products.
Graduates work within the automotive industry, which comprises a wide range of businesses, institutes and agencies active in the research, development, manufacturing, validating, maintaining and selling of products associated with vehicles and transport system. ‘Vehicles’ should be understood as a broad concept covering passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, special vehicles, motor cycles, but also pulled vehicles such as trailers, semi-trailers and caravans.
