Why Automotive Engineering?
The transport industry is facing new challenges, such as fuel economy, alternative fuel use, green energy – hybrid and electric vehicles, intelligent driving support systems, increasing safety requirements, environmental changes and global warming, vision of zero accidents and etc. Therefore, this situation requires professionals who are trained to deal with these challenges and are familiar with new technologies and management systems.
The aim of master’s degree in Automotive Engineering is to produce well trained students who will be future professionals and respond to the needs of this industrial sector.

What will students learn?
Automotive Engineering (along with transport engineering) is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydrodynamic, software and safety engineering. Is applied to: investigate and design, manufacture and operation of mobile machinery, railway transport, motorcycles, automobiles and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems.
Engineering attributes and disciplines that are important to the Automotive Engineer field are included in the study programme:

Exchange Period Abroad?
According to various international cooperation and exchange programs there is an opportunity to study in Germany, Austria, Finland, Greece, Portugal, South Korea, Taiwan, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and many other countries around the world for one or two semesters.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE
You will have plenty of opportunities to apply and diversity your skills through graduate projects, internships, career programmes, clubs and societies.
What about career opportunities after Master's degree studies?
This study programme aims to provide graduates with a wide range of technical skills and independent learning ability to make them effective in organisations that design and develop automotive products.
Graduates are employed in the automotive industry, which comprises a range of businesses, institutes and agencies active in the research, development, manufacturing, validating, maintaining and selling of products associated with vehicles and transport system. ‘Vehicles’ should be understood as a broad concept covering passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, special vehicles, motor cycles, but also pulled vehicles such as trailers, semi-trailers and caravans.
