VGTU is awarded for the dissemination of the Erasmus programme‘s results
Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) received a nomination of Quality Competition, organised by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation in 2014, for the Erasmus programme publicity and the results‘ dissemination in the most qualified way.
VGTU organised International Days, arranging meetings with former exchange students, foreign students, as well as Information Fair and ESN VGTU promotions. The University also organized a "Living Library", during which foreign students spoke about their international experience and encouraged all students to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the exchange programmes. Students, studying under the Erasmus programme, shared their experiences in blogs every first or second week.
Competitions were organised, winners traveling to the participant or participants of “Mission of the Erasmus“; study visits to partner universities were also organised. Specially created character “URDutė“ advised students on the international studies’ opportunities in blog and newsletter.
Alfonsas Daniūnas, the Rector of VGTU and Julija Vičienė, the Erasmus institutional coordinator participated in the Quality Competition winners' award at the business centre "Merchants' Club" and received the award.
